Vancouver 2010 Olympics logo

It has been quite an event having the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Naturally, the most exciting part of it for us was a few years back when the official logo was selected: The winning logo was created by the firm Rivera Design Group (Owner Elena Rivera MacGregor) and she named the logo "Ilanaaq" - which is the Intuit word for "friend". Interestingly enough, according to a recent interview by the Globe and Mail, Ms. Rivera MacGregor had mentioned that having her design chosen to be the 2010 Winter Olympics logo hasn't necessarily given her business a tremendous boost.
