Choosing the right font is one of the most essential parts of design. Things to consider include: making content accessible and readable while maintaining the overall aesthetic balance of the site or project. A designer must make sure that text is not hard to read on any and all of platforms and browsers. Some of the key font elements to be aware of are: correct leading, spacing, amount of white space, color contrast and font sizes.

Selecting the right font type for your company's site and logo is not just about familiarity, its also about choosing a font that communicates the right message to your intended audience. If you want visitors to your site to be able to get the information they want as soon as possible, you need to think about selecting the fonts that are easiest to read.

There is a growing trend in many markets to use handwritten and script fonts, all in an effort to give designs a more personal touch. Handwritten font says something more personal, creating a warmer tone for your visitors. These kind of fonts are not the best choice for long text, but they are really good if you just want to add warmth to your messaging. Handwritten style script fonts are usually presented more openly, mimicking a number of different handwriting styles, from casual to precise.

As usual, I was scouring the web last week looking for new and beautiful fonts to showcase here on our blog. I happened to come across an absolutely amazing experimental typography project called TypoFlat. TypoFlat is a project that has been created by designer Branislav S. Cirkovic as a way for him to showcase and share some of the amazing typefaces that he creates with anyone and everyone on the web. So far, this wonderful project has lead to the creation of 6 beautiful experimental fonts. Today, I am trying to spread the word about Branislav's project by showcasing each of his wonderful fonts below.
